In Part 3 of How I Crosshatch, we are going to cause some mayhem. If you thought crosshatching was a slow, meticulous, and ultra-technical affair, be ready to break some rules. We are now going to explore a messier, looser, and above all faster kind of crosshatching. It is my favorite approach, and I cannot wait to share it with you.
While the majority of the course will be about loosening up and speeding things up, we will also explore what digital tools have to teach us when it comes to crosshatching. For one hour and thirty minutes, I will show you the best brush for crosshatching using Procreate, and we will create two portraits.
Added to this, I will show you some of the ideal pens for crosshatching besides ballpoint pen. We will make portraits in fountain pen, Pigma Micron pens, and pencil.
